In this video we travel to Maui to hike the Pipiwai Trail located in the infamous Road to Hana. Pipiwai Trail has a 5 star rating in the AllTrails hiking website, and after doing this hike we can see why. In this trail you will come across a Giant Banyan Tree, a mile long Bamboo Forest and to top it off, the end of the trail rewards you with a 400ft Waterfall (Waimoku Falls). This trail is 4 miles round trip and well-kept. It’s rated a moderate level hike, but like every other hike, becomes more difficult when raining.
We can honestly say that the Pipiwai Trail is on our top 3 favorite hikes that we have done. This trail feels like it can part of a J.R.R. Tolkien story because of all the magnificent, mystical sites you will come across.
Definitely recommend this hike to anyone.
***At the end of this hike there is a sign that says “Do not pass” right before you reach the base of Waimoku Waterfall. Rocks have been known to fall from the cliffs so please heed the warning signs. Also if you get caught you can get fines $100***

Beautiful vid friends! Nice upload! BIG LIKE!
That was great! It's been on my list for a while to get to that beautiful bamboo forest. Now that I know you can take the back way in without doing the road to hana (beautiful but been there done that), I'm making sure to do it next time I'm on Maui! Mahalo!
Stunning waterfalls and beautiful scenery. I just love watching your hikes! Glad the rain didn’t stop you!!!
I am sweating looking at that road but the views are incredible! That trail is like something out of a dream :O Stunning banyan. We drive 12 hours every year to hime waterfalls in the Smokies but we really are missing out on the east coast. Putting this trail on the list for when we visit Hawaii. Another beautiful adventure guys, as always just amazing!
Some parts look familiar but hiking 4 miles.. Hmm.. That's not something we would have done back then.. lol! We will definitely do this hike next time we visit Maui.. Love all the scenery and that view as you walk up to the waterfall was spectacular! Thanks for all the tips as well! Another great video guys!
