Thank you! Thank you thank you thank you for posting some surf footage with some context. With some paddle outs and some paddle ins, and positioning and the actual process. The high octane, straight-to-the-money-shot fast cutting of modern surf filming is super annoying to me, and kind of irrelevant to the sport. It gives very little to the soul of what's actually going on and makes it just look like stunts. Feels really nice to see some footage of what it takes and means to surf- anywhere, and especially a break like Pe'ahi. I would love to watch more footage like this, esp of big wave spots and the actual paddle out process. Thanks for posting.
