5 Caves Beach Maui Hawaii

This is a unique spot for snorkeling and scuba. If you are staying on the southwest side of Maui and you like snorkeling try this place at least once, if you are a strong swimmer. I have been to this spot at least 3 times and I have found that it is very easy to get in and sandy on the south portion of the beach area. You can park in a parking lot or easily on the street. I found that the visibility was not great each time I went and you do have to swim far out to begin to see many fish or coral. The water is deep here. This is where many kayaks launch from due to the still cove water. I think there are many other better places to snorkel than this spot, but this isn’t bad.
